The 2016 UBC Imprint Conference was the inaugural year of the UBC Imprint case competition. Introduced to provide students with a greater understanding of branding concepts, the case competition looks to continually grow on previous years’ successes by aiming to engage a larger, more diverse group of students in a challenging and interactive learning experience.

UBC Imprint’s 2017 case competition was given the name ‘IMPACT’, representing the notion of creating waves in industry branding by solving a real and current business problem.

2017 Case Competition

Junior competition: Guayaki Yerba Mate

Thanks to Guayaki Yerba Mate’s generous sponsorship, this year’s junior case winners will have the chance to win branded Guayaki items and Guayaki Yerba Mate for the rest of the semester. Each person from the winning team gets an interview take part in Canada’s first-ever University Cebador (Ambassador) program.

Senior competition: TELUS

As this year’s senior case sponsor, TELUS is opening its doors to winners for an opportunity to be introduced to leaders within TELUS and an informational interview with their campus recruiter.
