The 2018 UBC Imprint Case Competition will be in its third year of operation this year. Introduced to provide students with a greater understanding of branding concepts, the case competition looks to continually grow on previous years’ successes by aiming to engage a larger, more diverse group of students in a challenging and interactive learning experience.
UBC Imprint’s 2018 case competition was given the name ‘IMPACT’, representing the notion of creating waves in industry branding by solving a real and current business problem. Similar to last year’s theme, this year we want to stick with the name ‘IMPACT’ as it represents and depicts the attitude that our participants have towards the case.
2018 Case Competition
Junior competition: EVO
This year’s UBC Imprint junior case competition is presented by Evo Car Share. Known around campus for being an awesome alternative form of transportation, Evo cars are equipped with everything you need to take on what BC has to offer.
Senior competition: PEPSICO
UBC Imprint 2018 has partnered with PepsiCo to present this year’s senior case competition. PepsiCo is known for being home to some of the world’s most recognized brands, such as Quaker, Tropicana, Gatorade, Lay’s and Doritos. It has also been recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers!
While this case is recommended for senior years, junior years are allowed to compete. To be eligible, a junior year student must have two senior members on their team.

△ Each team member MUST purchase a UBC Imprint conference ticket to be officially registered (otherwise you CANNOT participate). Tickets go on sale January 17th! See the event page here:

△ Registration opens: January 10th at 12:00PM

△ Case submission deadline: January 30th at 11:59PM
△ Senior case presentation: February 8th at 9:30 AM
